Michael Sullivan has worked in higher education for over twenty-two years at both the University of Minnesota Duluth and the University of Wisconsin Madison, where he is currently an academic advisor.
Michael was a first-generation, non-traditional student, going to college in his mid twenties. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in humanities, a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a graduate certificate in educational technology all from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD). In addition to being an academic advisor, Michael has worked as an academic technologist supporting faculty and students in a hybrid master of education program at UMD.
Hearing the constant call over the years for usable data that would help tell more of the story regarding the student experience in higher education, Michael sees the Learning Analytics program as a way for him to serve students in a better way.
