“This program demystified data and transformed this formerly math-phobic student into someone who uses data daily to guide my own practices. It gave me the confidence to engage with new ideas about how to use numbers to tell a story while never shirking the human-centered approach that is deeply important to me both professionally and personally.”

DESIGNING FOR LEARNING AND EQUITY

Dani is passionate about ethical, human-centered design. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she brings a background in academic advising, student support, and curriculum development. She is recognized for designing learning experiences that translate complex ideas into human-centered, inclusive solutions. Her recent work includes supporting school-wide initiatives on AI use in the classroom within the AI Teaching Excellence Workshop series. Dani brings a strong attention to accessibility, compliance, and clarity, helping instructors build learning environments that are both equitable and aligned with institutional goals. For Dani, good design isn’t just about aesthetics or tools, it’s about using data and creativity to build equitable, engaging learning environments for all students.

ACCESS, CLARITY, AND CARE

Dani takes great pride in building positive, supportive environments and strong relationships with those around her. Driven by the question, “Who will I serve?” she approaches every project with a deep belief that collaboration is key to creating meaningful, lasting impact. Dani’s love for design and resource curation is more than a skill, it’s a way to help ensure learning outcomes and foster equity. She strives to center every conversation in trust, transparency, and care, using data not just to measure success but to improve learning experiences in ways that truly matter. Outside of work, Dani volunteers with organizations like The Red Cross and the Lupus Foundation of America, reflecting her conviction that a good heart is essential to good work and meaningful change.
