The Journey

Dorian works as a student processing specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Division of Continuing Studies. He has earned both an elementary education teaching license and a master’s degree in teaching and learning. Dorian’s job involves helping students navigate the enrollment process and providing support throughout their time at the university. With their background in education, Dorian is uniquely equipped to understand and address the needs of students as they pursue their academic goals.

The Vision for the Future

Dorian’s passion for sports and expertise in data analytics has led him to explore the exciting field of learning analytics. By applying his skills in data analysis to the realm of education, he can better understand how students learn and identify areas for improvement. Just as sports teams use data to optimize their performance and strategy, educators can use learning analytics to personalize instruction, track student progress, and identify at-risk students who may need additional support.
