“I have witnessed the power of every decision, small and big, and the impact it has on a student’s life in their day to day education. I believe that data-driven decision-making is a huge gap in the American education system that has not yet been fully understood or addressed.  I am passionate about finding research and data to create efficient solutions to improve decision making that can help benefit the learners, teachers and other educational staff”.

Instructional Teaching and Support Staff

Currently, Christian serves as the Instructional Teaching Assistant at NorthCook Young Adults Academy, a restorative alternative school for students. He provides 1:1 instructional support for students who have additional instructional needs, incorporates restorative practices with students and uses trauma-informed care to assist students in meeting their goals. Christian obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from UW-Milwaukee where he served as the college’s Veterans Resource Representative. He also received his Associates of Business degree from  Waukesha County Technical College where he also served as president of the Veterans Board.

Teamwork, Team building and Goal-centered Leadership

Christian didn’t realize how much he loved helping people until he started working in education. He has a passion for teaching others how to get through obstacles and create a data-driven plan with multiple steps to reach their goals. Christian also has attended several conferences centered around conflict resolution which he has applied in his work with at-risk youth. Christian has mostly worked with adolescent and young adult students who oftentimes are overlooked in a typical educational system. Christian has taught social-emotional strategies and used trauma-informed care to help students learn how to cope in various settings. Christian recognizes the significance of fostering a data-driven approach to education. He firmly believes in the power of collecting and analyzing data to inform instructional decisions and track student progress. By utilizing data, Christian helps students and educators identify areas of strength and areas that require additional support. He emphasizes the importance of setting clear goals, breaking them down into actionable steps, and continuously monitoring progress to ensure optimal outcomes. He also teaches students how to take data and track their own progress for personal or academic goals.
