Anna Crisci

“After spending a few years working on my masters in Curriculum and Instruction, I wasn’t finding my “why” in what I was developing. Diving deeper into the data and how we are using this data is something that will be a difference maker in our educational system. This is the “why” I am striving for.”

WORLD CULTURES TEACHER

Anna has been a middle and high school teacher for 11 years. After teaching middle school Social Studies and Literature for 7 years in Ridge, Maryland, she currently works as a 10th-grade World Cultures teacher at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She is also a volleyball and basketball coach for both middle and high school girls. Anna received her BS in Education-Secondary Education (Social Studies) from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

PASSION FOR TEACHING AND REACHING ALL STUDENTS

Anna strongly believes in reaching all students by creating meaningful relationships and utilizing many different resources in order to help students. In her school community, Anna is in charge of multiple student groups, including Aevidum, National Honors Society, and Model United Nations. In these roles, she aids students in becoming the best versions of themselves. Throughout the fall, winter, and spring, Anna can be seen with students on the volleyball and basketball courts as their coach. With the students Anna works with, she knows that the future is bright!
