“Working in education, I can see both sides of student success; seeing the full picture of the students’ goals being met, but also all the data and tweaks it takes to get them there. The Learning Analytics program will help me make impact in making the best decisions for my future students in creating the best path for them and reach all their goals and dreams.”

LIFE SKILLS TEACHING

Currently, Brianna serves as a life skills paraprofessional at Valor Collegiate Academies Middle School. In her current role, she works as a 1:1 support system for children with low and high incidence levels of special needs. While teaching and supporting these students in academia each day, she also supports teaching the scholars independent tasks that are imperative to life skills outside of the classroom. Brianna received her bachelor’s in arts degree in Education in Interdisciplinary Disability Studies at the University of Kentucky.

ADVOCACY, TEAM-LABOR, GROWTH

Brianna has always had a calling to education and to work with those with special needs. Being able to see those little milestones throughout the school year and seeing the transformation and having those children recognize their own growths after all the hard work is over. She thrives working within a team and is a huge team player with her colleagues and students. In addition, she often advocates for her students to get the best possible support and education. In this program, she wants to dive in deeper and learn how data can shape a lot in education and how to best support her students!
