“The Learning Analytics Program stands out because of its supportive and dynamic structure that has prioritized students worldwide within a virtual environment. From this program, I hope to further my interests in the development, perceptions, and conceptualizations of gender within adolescent groups and how data analytics can be used as a tool to benefit students and educators alike.”

Commitment to the Integration of Psychology with Other Disciplines

As a Project Outreach Manager, Queen corresponded with organization leaders, both in-person and virtually, to inform them about menstrual cup usage and ensured that their goals were being met within the community. As an Assistant Program Coordinator, Queen supervised and supported high school students in a residential setting, prioritizing their safety, health, and overall well-being. By coordinating recreational and educational activities, she provided a fun and engaging experience while fostering personal growth and learning among the students. Queen holds a BS in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Furman University, earning the Allport Scholar Award in Psychology for her representation of Allport’s commitment to the integration of psychology with other disciplines.
