A LIFELONG LEARNER
In 2011, Sandra earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Italian at Rutgers University, focusing her studies on human development, learning and teaching. With a passion for educating, she earned a dual Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University in 2014. In 2026, she earned a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with an emphasis on youth studies, librarianship and school media. She currently holds two active teaching licenses in Wisconsin for Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education.

Sandra is a passionate early childhood educator; a curriculum development, learning and instructional specialist; an avid researcher of early childhood education and development; and a lover of love and happy things. Her philosophy focuses on nurturing an intrinsic love for learning, inquiry and research in each individual child. Already assessment driven, she hopes to utilize her MS in Learning Analytics to foster equality and equity in academia.
