Katelyn Egan

Katelyn Egan earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam and a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance from McGill University. She currently works as a Reporting Support Specialist with the Custom Analytics team at Curriculum Associates, an educational technology and publishing company based in the Greater Boston area. Her team produces customized reports that provide actionable data and insights to support K-12 students and educators in achieving their learning goals. Before joining the educational technology space, Katelyn taught Creative Arts and English as a Second Language in Limpopo, South Africa with the Peace Corps and later received a Fulbright grant to teach English as a Second Language to vocational high school students and adult professionals in Panagyurishte, Bulgaria. Katelyn is interested in how Learning Analytics facilitates personalized learning experiences and targeted interventions in K-12 classrooms and informs the development of educational technology tools that are responsive to student needs.
