Christina Huynh completed her B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Educational Studies at University of California, San Diego in 2020. During her undergraduate time, Christina has worked many roles to support students throughout their college journey, such as being a Math tutor, Supplemental Instruction Leader, Metacognitive Learning Specialist, and different roles in Summer transition programs. She has a passion for working with students and hopes to create a fun and effective learning environment for students. Christina is currently working at the University of California, San Diego, Teaching and Learning Commons, Academic Achievement Hub as the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Coordinator. As the SI Coordinator Christina plans to explore issues of equity gaps by determining how current methods and instruments can be improved at her current university. She is interested in creating equitable student support services that supports students holistically and promotes a sense of belonging that goes beyond academics.
