Dr. Siebert-Evenstone is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and worked in the Epistemic Analytics Group to develop innovative learning technologies and statistical tools to improve the assessment of complex thinking. Amanda has worked on projects investigating the role of group work in computer-supported learning environments, modeling and scripting for group discussions, temporal segmentation methods in discourse analysis, and the effect of place in online education. Amanda is interested in the design and assessment of STEM virtual learning environments including the incorporation of qualitative research and learning analytics. Currently, Amanda is developing a method to measure and model alignment between intended and enacted curriculum. While at the University of Wisconsin, Amanda received an M.S. in Environment and Resources, an M.S. in Educational Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.
