Jay is a people-focused and data-driven Learning and Development Specialist for the City of Madison. With a Master of Science in Educational Psychology-Learning Analytics, a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Inequities and Gender & Women Studies, and certificates in Instructional Design and Health & Humanities, she brings a commitment to continuous learning and growth. Over the past decade, Jay has excelled in designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs that drive talent development, enhance leadership capabilities, and foster organizational growth in diverse industries.
Passion beyond the Classroom!
Jay’s dedication extends beyond her professional role. She actively volunteers for mentoring organizations supporting Black girls’ leadership development, has been recognized as an Inaugural Committed Scholar, is an active member of the Society of Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) and Phi Kappa Phi, teaches coding skills as a Certified Carpentries Instructor, and consults as an analyst conducting research and data analysis for corporate partners and higher education institutions. With a growth mindset and a passion for making a profound impact, Jay continues to contribute to the field of education and inspire those she serves, while also cherishing outdoor adventures, global travel, and creating cherished memories with loved ones.
